6-20-09 Yes it's been awhile since I was here. I've been diligently working on music, and I am of course my own worst critic, so it's very slow going!! Coupled with the fact that there has been so much baseball going on with my kids, and my regular work, there just seems to never be enough time. However I have just made, hopefully, a new contact to go play...I will keep you guys updated.
4-17-09 I just got an amazing opportunity to write some theme music for a clothing companies website, as well as background music for their fashion shows. I am not legally allowed to divulge the name yet, but it is all beach inspired childrens clothing...

4-1-09 Of course it will seem like it, but it's not an April fools day thing...I am getting off my ass and going to meet with some clubs and bars around here today, to start booking my 2009 schedule. Hopefully I have good news to report right away. I know I am late in starting to book again for the season, but will still be good. I'll keep you informed as to when the gigs get scheduled! :)
3-27-09 Currently I am working on a studio recording project that has a companion book, accurately based around my life. The great thing is I have asked a few friends from my past to join in on the recording project, and aside from being underwhelmed at asking, I am happy to say that this project is most certainly a go. I am still ironing out editor/assistant matters on the book end of things, but hopefully that will be a concrete thing soon as well!

1-15-09 What's up everybody? Got back from my session work, I worked on some music that was written for, and will be added to a Network Soap Opera very soon. We also just got over a huge sale at www.lolcandles.com, and except for a few private functions that I had accepted I am not booking any gigs until after 2-22-09...Peace, love, and good happiness stuff...
12-26-08 I'm off to NJ the beginning of January. I've picked up some session work...I can't say who or what it's for yet, but it's worth going back to Jersey for!!

12-15-08 Well, I actually haven't pursued any gigs for the moment, aside from some private functions in the area. I am ready and will be doing so shortly, but with things being rather hectic right now... So all that's left is to wish everyone warm wishes for a safe and happy holiday season.

In one fell swoop we have made the divide in our country that much smaller. We have gained the respect of the world by looking at a black man and only seeing a man. Now all men who are created equal can look at each other and stand as equals. United we now stand, fore divided we had fallen. There is a reality to all things in this new chapter of American history. What we have racially been battling for years is not erased, but lightened up a bit. As a result now, all parents regardless of race, creed, or color can look into the innocent and hopeful eyes of their beloved children and defiantly cry out that "Yes you can", and not only can you, but now you are expected to!!! Thank you America and all her children for making possible everything to everyone! If this sounds like a pat on the back it is, because now we deserve it...

This is the busy season for candles, so things might be slow around here a bit. We are on the verge of making the transition into a retail store for our candle business, remodeling an addition we had put on our house, so sorry for the delays on this site...

I still have a kids book, "Little Bees Garden" due out, unfortunately it doesn't look good to be on time for the Holidays. But keep your fingers crossed... This is a completed work that finds me as both author and illustator. It will be sold exclusively on this site, as well as on www.lolcandles.com to start before making its way to the stores. A book of poetry should follow that in late Spring 2009.

The BIG news is that I will be booking myself again as a solo artist/act!! This will come as a shock to most of you who thought I'd never play again, and especially to those who hoped I never would! Aside from bar work, I'll also be available for private functions, songwriting collaboration (on a very selective basis), for production work, and in engineer capacity... Please keep checking back, I promise you won't be sorry. Although if you're on this site you're probably already sorry...
